Calcium Rich Foods

Some of the best sources for calcium include: cheese,yogurt,milk, sardines and fortified cereals and juices. calcium is found in dairy as well as green leafy vegetables and many other foods.

Some non-dairy sources of calcium are:

  • Collard greens

  • Broccoli

  • kale

  • Edamame

  • Figs

  • Oranges

  • Sardines

  • Salmon

  • White beans

  • Okra

  • Tofu

  • Almonds

  • Fortified cereals

  • Soybeans

  • Fortified soy milk

  • Enriched breads and grains

  • Vitamin D is necessary for the body to absorb calcium and some foods already contain vitamin D. many calcium supplements include vitamin D as well, and sun exposure is another source of Vitamin D.
